A 27 year old roofer from Arnold was pulled over for Speeding 100 mph and charged with driving while intoxicated in St. Louis County. Employment requires him to drive daily from job to job. He was exposed to a one-year license revocation for refusing the breath test. Although he was convicted on the speeding charge, no criminal conviction resulted for DWI.

RESULT: NO CONVICTION. NO LICENSE SUSPENSION.


Driver falls asleep at the wheel and strikes fire hydrant, then leaves the scene of the accident, causing $5,300.00 worth of damage. State police eventually catch up to the driver. No field sobriety tests given prior to an arrest for DWI. Carl Civella argued lack of probable cause.

RESULT: NO CONVICTION. NO LICENSE SUSPENSION.
